While she always knew she wanted to take an educational track in behavioral psychology, Victoria’s career path was influenced by her first job after graduation, working as a Care Aid in an autism support classroom. In this role, she supported a child with autism that had difficulty focusing and high levels of aggression, which the school system refused to help. Victoria and her team incorporated an ABA approach. As her first introduction to ABA therapy, Victoria loved the science behind it, which incorporated purposeful decisions to eliminate guesswork.
Victoria appreciates that Helping Hands Family continues to dedicate the necessary resources to help drive meaningful growth for their clients. Victoria arrived at HHF with a distinguished educational background and impressive experience, including a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After her work in the autism support classroom, Victoria also earned a master’s in ABA from Penn State Harrisburg and an OBM certificate from Florida Tech. She offers over decade of experience including 5 years of experience as a BCBA!
