What is Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE)?

Free and Appropriate Public Education, or FAPE, refers to a legal right outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education act. It requires schools to provide special education and related services (which may include ABA) to students with disabilities (including ASD) at no cost to the parents or caregivers.
