How ABA therapy in PA works.
ABA therapy at HHF is delivered by a dedicated clinical team. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs and oversees each child’s individualized treatment plan and tracks data throughout. As your child grows and achieves new milestones, the BCBA adjusts their goals to keep therapy aligned with their progress. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) deliver direct, one-on-one sessions guided by that plan. As your child grows and hits new milestones, the BCBA adjusts goals to keep therapy aligned with where they are.
Every plan is built around three core elements:
Child-Led Sessions
Therapy follows your child’s interests to encourage engagement and participation.
Play-Based Learning
Toys and games serve as the tools. Skills develop through purposeful, structured play
Positive Reinforcement
Every step forward is recognized, building the confidence and habits that last.
Early intervention in PA: why starting early matters.
Research consistently shows that children who begin ABA therapy earlier experience stronger long-term outcomes. Early intervention through HHF is available for children starting at age 2, when early learning and development are especially important.
For families looking for a structured daily program, our Little Hands Day Program is a preschool alternative, with play-based ABA in the clinic up to five days per week depending on medical necessity. Starting autism services early helps children develop:
Communication and expressive language skills
Social interaction and peer connection
Behavior regulation and daily independence
School readiness across key developmental areas
